Pick just one\, or several – whatever suits your fancy. Most are an hour and a half\,  with two deep dives (I’m looking at you\, Small Scenes and The Write Stuff!) that are three hours and both Saturday and Sunday sessions required. \n\n\nGroup activities for building community\nIn addition to classes\, we will have a group kick off Friday evening and a closing event Sunday evening. Come see how being together with dozens of smiling faces on Zoom can feel uplifting and even intimate. \nRegistration for the Summer 2021 June Zoom Weekend is closed. Hope to see you there!\nClick here for a pdf of Zoom tricks and tips\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Class descriptions\, leaders\, and times\nFor the full description\, click on the course name\nAll times are East Coast USA (i.e. New York City)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Event Kickoff \n Friday 6:00 – 6:30 pm (EDT)We’ll have a quick go-round to welcome everyone and get you in the mood for fun! \n \n \n \n \n \n Party Games - Trevor the Games man\n Friday 6:30 – 8:00 pm (EDT)Ice breakers\, brain games\, word play\, partner games\, breakout room games — we’ll do them all in this fast-paced class! \nPeople with any (or no!) Zoom expertise will enjoy this class. Trevor will explain how to use any functions you will use when you need them. \nYou don’t need to have your own device. In fact\, it’s more FUN if you’re in the same room on the same device! \n \n \n \n \n \n Songs for today (and tomorrow? or yesterday?) - Jacquie Adain\n Friday 8:30 – 10:00 pm EDTSing and laugh with your fellow ECRS songsters! Well\, sort of. Zoom means everyone except the person leading the song each time can ‘join in’ but must be muted. It will be a little bit weird but a lot wonderful! When it’s your turn\, either lead a song or make a request.  \nClass requirements \n\nPerhaps Rise Up Singing and Rise Again or access to the internet to search lyrics if desired (though not absolutely necessary)\nYou don’t have to be a Zoom expert\, but should be familiar with basic Zoom features like chat\, mute/unmute\, and renaming yourself.\nIt’s not important at all for each participant to be on their own screen. In fact\, it’s more enjoyable if participants shared a screen with others in their family!\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Math through Puzzles\, Games\, Magic & Fun - Dan Rubin\n Saturday 10:00 – 11:30 am DSTSolve puzzles\, play games\, perform magic\, and have fun – with a mathematical theme. The chair becomes our mat while we work through seated poses\, and our support as we transition to standing and balance poses. \nTaking time to quiet the mind in meditation and move the body with the breath\, we begin to listen to our own inner wisdom voice\, allowing each student the opportunity to make the practice his/her own. We will work safely and cautiously to build the strength and flexibility we need to face life’s everyday chores and challenges. \nRequirements \nDuring the class\, each person (even if sharing a screen) should have their own \n\nTennis ball \nYoga mat (for stability) \nPiece of wall you can lean against \n\nAll participants will enjoy this class\, regardless of Zoom knowledge and number of people sharing a screen! \n \n \n \n \n \n Show and Tell - Brian Rudnick\n Saturday\, noon – 1:30 pm (EDT)You may remember show and tell from school days – how fun it was share a special object with your classmates and be surprised at what they brought. \nCome join us in recreating the experience on Zoom! Bring two “things” to show and tell – one for a small group breakout room and the other\, perhaps\, for the main room\, time permitting. \n“Things” can include a particular talent. Or treasured object. Or… \n \n \n \n \n \n Creative Exploration - Fun and Connection Facilitator Alyse Parise\n Saturday\, noon – 1:30 pm (EDT)Enliven your creative self through moving\, breathing\, drawing and sharing in this multi-sensory\, fun experience.
